Lo mejor de 2008: Discos Internacionales

Y al fin los discos internacionales, con nada menos que 6 debutantes entre los 10 favoritos y con los Wave Pictures como revelación absoluta.

the Singles

Hace un par de semanas me hice con el segundo disco de the Singles , el grupo de Vince Frederick que tras su primer trabajo Better than before (2003) ha cambiado su banda al completo pasando de la formación de cuarteto al trío de este nuevo álbum.

Y he de recomendar efusivamente este disco para amantes del pop, con ramalazos garageros de the Who o los Kinks (I want you back now o Hypnotized) pasando por el powerpop más divertido ( Love is just a game) hasta medios tiempos (Summer), con unas melodías que podrían estar interpretadas (allá voy) por el mismísimo Paul McCartney.

Una auténtica delicia de disco, una pena que su próxima mini gira por nuestro país no pase por Zaragoza. Que lo disfrutéis (link y tracklist en comentarios)
